Window Seating

I have always had a bit of an obsession for window seats. They are just the perfect place to cozy up with a book and a coffee (or any other hot beverage of your choosing).

My dad installed a window seat in his kitchen a few years back, and it made my day. Of course this was after I moved out on my own to a different city, so I couldn't really enjoy it as much as I would've liked. So when I go for a visit, I am always sitting in the window nook enjoying the view, a book and a coffee.

Unfortunately, I am living in a basement at the moment and there's no way I can recreate this in my apartment. I have created a little reading nook which is quite lovely, but it just doesn't compare to a wonderful window seat. As for right now, I'll just be dreaming about these awesome window seats, and hoping that one day I will have one for my very own.

Just a few things for the Fall I wanted to share with you that made my heart go aflutter.

1. Comfy sweaters in all shapes and sizes

2. Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. This drink makes my fall season - scrum-diddly-umptious!!

I can taste it already :)

3. Apple picking. I've got a few spots to choose from that Fawn and I want to hit up. I am already dreaming of the apple infused recipes I can make, including these delicious looking caramel apples found here.

4. I can finally makes all those Soup/ Stew and Chilli recipes I have been amassing throughout the summer. Here's one of my favourites.

6. And finally, the leaves changing colours. It just makes everything that much prettier :)

And when I say she, I hope you know what I am talking about. xoxo Gossip Girl - that's who. Season premiere of Gossip Girl was one last night, oh how I love thee. And the biggest reason I love Gossip Girl is the fashion, oh the fashion AND the amaze-balls decor in almost every shot. I am in total inspiration mode when I watch Gossip Girl. Here's a couple of my favourite rooms. I. Die.

We are really excited about getting started! We hope to make this blog a haven for all things home decor, fashion, food, art and we'll include some little snapshots of our own lives.

As home decor fanatics, we've self-diagnosed our home decor styles as modern-eclectic and classic-romantic - we'll let you figure out who's who ;) In the word's of my man Leo Davinci: "art is never finished, only abandoned". Meaning, our spaces are constantly changing and never finished in our eyes, so we'll share the process of change and inspiration as it comes.
